Module 2: Giving AI Better Direction
How to make requests clearer, sharper, and more useful
What this module is about
Module 1 was about mindset. Module 2 is about the actual mechanics of a good request.
When AI output is off-target, it is almost always because the input was missing something critical. That missing thing is usually context, audience, or quality guidance. This module teaches all three.
Module learning goal
By the end of Module 2, you will know how to consistently provide the three things that have the biggest impact on AI output quality:
- Context — The background information AI needs to think, write, and organize well
- Audience — Who the output is actually for
- Standards — What tone, structure, and quality level the output should hit
Lessons in this module
- Lesson 3 — Context is the cheat code
- Lesson 4 — Define the audience before you ask for the output
- Lesson 5 — Set the tone, structure, and standard
Why this module matters
A capable colleague who knows your company, your audience, and your standards will produce better work than one who knows nothing about any of those things — even if both are equally skilled.
AI is no different. The more relevant information it has before it starts working, the better the output tends to be. This module shows you exactly what information to give and how to give it without burying the actual request.
